I found what I'm guessing is the origional website "Heveanly Cake Baker" and found this current site.

It's just charming and I love that there is a community here baking together. I have my own blog called A Curry of a Life, which focus on Indian food and travel. My second passion besides Indian cooking is American baking, and especially beautiful cakes.

Does this current site still include a group of bakers? I saw there was talk of wanting to limit the membership, but if you are still taking new bakers, I would love to join.

Wonderful blog and fantastic pictures. Let me know about joining :)Colleen at A Curry of a Lifehttp://www.acurryofalife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7452207798550129491.post-62849671325918083282011-11-07T20:49:18.400-07:002011-11-07T20:49:18.400-07:00I had such bad luck with Rose's caramel.. I think every time there was caramel involved I said a little prayer.. because I know there was going to be a lot of cursing in my kitchen, since it never came out the way it was suppose to.

Like Hanaa, I also love the swirl on top. And like you this one did not grab me at all, since I don't like pumpkin and not a big fan of cheesecake... but maybe I will have to rethink it and make it as the Thanksgiving dessert.Monicahttp://www.sweetbitesblog.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7452207798550129491.post-7484247821114393932011-11-07T16:03:15.919-07:002011-11-07T16:03:15.919-07:00Ooooh the whipped cream swirl on top looks lusciou...Ooooh the whipped cream swirl on top looks luscious and perfect! I’m glad you liked it, given that it’s *cheesecake* and it has *pumpkin*. I vividly remember this cake; one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. So I decided to make the German Chocolate Cake that everyone has been raving about (with a different “goop”, as ECL calls it). I’m hoping to have the post up tonight.Hanaâhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660317268731033542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7452207798550129491.post-63844808074650465332011-11-07T12:52:18.534-07:002011-11-07T12:52:18.534-07:00Cute little mini cupcakes!

I don't have a candy thermometer, and mine was very thick. It was all I could do to pipe it out, but the flavor was great!Lois Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03560321506489546079noreply@blogger.com
