HCB Free Choice: Double-Chocolate-Whammy Groom's Cake

I wish I could say this is my last cake to blog from Rose's Heavenly Cakes. But as I was looking through my Heavenly Cake List this morning, I realized I haven't blogged about the yellow butter cupcakes. I think I still have a picture of it somewhere so the short post will come later this week.

By now you guys would realize that the reason I said you can bake the wedding cakes in any shape is because I wanted to do the same thing too. As you guys know by now I have a love for anything mini and since this cake is from the Wedding Cake section, I bake them in my Wilton heart-shaped silicone pan.

HCB: Pumpkin Cheesecake

I am slacking. Slacking.

Sorry about missing the LC NC last week. Every time I started writing, something come up and by the weekend I threw in the towel. So there.

I will be more in line in the future. Promise.

This Pumpkin Cheesecake is one of those desserts that surprised me. I was dreading making it. Not a big fan of pumpkin and cheesecake. The combo just sounds ugh!

But it's the last cake I have from the cheesecake chapter, so I was a little excited to make it because of that.

HCB: Molten Chocolate Souffle and Lava Cake

My blog has a mind of its own this morning and decided to publish a post that is still at an early writing post, just as I was typing it! This happens to me sometimes when I typed email using my yahoo email account, but never with the blog before.

Anyway, this is my last cake from the baby cake chapter. I know it's kinda backwards because we still have the Peanut Butter Ingots next week. But see I made that baby a couple of months ago. The post is written and ready to go. So technically this is my last baby cake.

HCB: Individual Pineapple Upside Down Cake

I haven't baked for two weeks. Last Sunday, after coming back from one of our little road trips, the first thing I did when I got home was to bake this cake.

It felt so good to bake. I didn't realize how much I would miss it! :)

HCB: Deep Chocolate Rosebuds

When you read a recipe, it sorta helps when you actually read it, instead of reading the title and a part of the instruction and then filling in the blanks yourself.

I blame this to tiredness. I didn't sleep well last night. Yet I woke up early, had breakfast, then proceeded to make this cake.
